[26 Dec 2009|06:48pm] krr__ I hope everyone had a great Christmas. This year it was kind of emotional. My grandpa has had prostate cancer for a couple years and he was in remission but it just recently spread to his liver and lungs. Before we started opening presents he told us he wanted everyone to take a piece of the basement home with us as a memory because it would be our last Christmas together and everyone started crying. My grandpa is the greatest man I'll ever know. While working at Bon Secours he helped so many people and to this day he donates a ton of money to less fortunate schools and the needy. I just don't understand how something so terrible can happen to someone so amazing. It really makes me reconsider my faith but I'm still praying every single day for a miracle. Other than that I had a really good Christmas :) I hope everyone has a safe and fun-filled new year! post comment
